Wallington High School Senior Awards Ceremony
The foundation prides itself on hosting community-wide fundraisers to continuously carry out Christopher's legacy.
We are so grateful that so many people have joined us in ensuring our efforts are successful and meaningful in honor of Christopher.
Since its establishment in December 2022, the foundation has donated over $10,000 to families with children combatting long term illnesses through either direct monetary contributions, or through the purchasing of medical necessities. Due to HIPPA, the foundation is unable to share details regarding the names and medical conditions of the children and families who have been supported. Please know your contributions have meant the world to us and those you have helped.
We are so proud of the impact Christopher continues to have on our community, and we look forward to bringing further comfort and support to those families who need it.

As 2025 comes to a close, the Christopher Walter Mizdol Foundation would like to thank each and every person who stood beside us throughout the year. From the bottom of our hearts, we are deeply grateful for your generosity, compassion, and unwavering support.
Because of you, we were able to continue our mission of helping medically fragile children and their families, providing medical and financial assistance when it was needed most. Every donation, volunteer hour, act of kindness, and helping hand allowed us to continue turning compassion into action and honoring Christopher’s memory through meaningful service to others.
Throughout the year, we remained committed to supporting children facing serious medical challenges and the families who walk alongside them. Our goal is always to help ease some of the financial and emotional burdens that families experience during incredibly difficult times.
We proudly hosted our 3rd Annual Classic Car Show, which was truly our best one yet!
The event brought together an incredible community of car enthusiasts, families, friends, supporters, and donors, all coming together for a common purpose—to support our mission and help medically fragile children and their families.
We are incredibly thankful to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, sponsored, and helped make this special event such a success.
We were deeply honored to once again attend Valley Home Health’s Annual Butterfly Release and provide the opening welcome.
This beautiful and emotional gathering gave us the opportunity to stand beside families and siblings who understand the profound pain of losing someone they love. Sharing these meaningful moments with them is something we never take for granted.
These experiences remind us why this work matters so deeply and why continuing Christopher’s legacy is so important to us.
During the holiday season, our community once again showed us what is possible when people come together.
Through the incredible generosity of our community, My Little University, and the Wallington Police Department, we were able to donate hundreds of toys to Valley Home Health.
Our hope was simple: to help families spend the holidays focused on love, togetherness, and making memories with their children, rather than worrying about how they would provide gifts during an already difficult time.
Knowing that these children would have something special to open during the holidays meant everything to us.
Our adopted family touched our hearts in a very special way this year.
With a new baby expected just before Christmas, our community came together once again with an incredible outpouring of love and generosity. Community members donated essential items for their unborn child, helping the family prepare for the arrival of their newest little blessing.
Our Foundation also provided toys and clothing for their other children, ensuring that every child in the family was remembered and included.
The parents were overwhelmed with gratitude and could hardly believe how blessed they were by the kindness shown to their family. We were later told that everyone truly had a Merry Christmas—and knowing that we were able to play even a small part in making that possible is something we will cherish.
None of what we accomplished in 2025 would have been possible without the people who continually stand behind our Foundation.
We are grateful for:
Our incredible community supporters
Local businesses and organizations
Our co-workers
Friends and family
Anonymous donors
Volunteers and behind-the-scenes helpers
Our event supporters and sponsors
Organizations that partnered with us throughout the year
Everyone who donated their time, resources, toys, clothing, and essential items
And the very generous grant we received this year
Some contributions are seen by many, while others happen quietly behind the scenes. Every single one matters.
Every donation helped a family. Every toy brought a smile to a child's face. Every volunteer gave their time so that we could do more. Every encouraging word reminded us that we are not doing this alone.
Our Foundation exists because of a promise to keep Christopher’s memory alive by helping others.
As we look back on 2025, we are reminded that Christopher’s legacy continues through every child we help, every family we support, every toy we provide, and every moment of kindness shared with someone who needs it.
This work can be emotional. It can be challenging. But it is also incredibly rewarding and meaningful. We are honored to be able to serve families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
You are the reason we can continue this meaningful, life-changing work that we love so much.
Thank you for believing in our mission.
Thank you for believing in us.
Thank you for honoring Christopher’s memory.
And most importantly, thank you for being part of our Foundation family.
As we close the chapter on 2025, we carry your kindness and support with us into the new year.
